There are some great looking websites out there. And whenever I stumble upon one, I always want to share the awesomeness. So I’m starting my own website gallery/showcase where I’ll feature some of my favourites. I’m also considering styling the gallery posts differently, but for now they’ll just be a screenshot with a simple description below.

Better Google Web Fonts

If you’ve ever thought about using web fonts, then you probably are familiar with Google Web Fonts. What I don’t like about it is that it’s flooded with typefaces that only have a single weight, making them unsuitable for body text. And since the Google service doesn’t let you filter those out, Soma Design have come up with a page listing all of the font families, so it’s easier for designers to pick the right font for the job.

Great, exactly what Android needs. I’m sick of ugly apps with unusual layouts. The unified design of most iOS apps is what sets them apart and makes them much more appealing to me. Аt least for now.

I’ve submitted a major update for my One theme. When it passes moderation, you’ll notice a slightly different look. That’s because I recoded and restyled the theme from scratch. I also added some features such as:

  • custom Tagline next to your blog title;
  • custom Pages support;
  • Ask and Submit links in the footer.

Custom colours, fonts and the tagline can be set from the customization options. If you haven’t changed the HTML you should get the update automatically as soon as it’s live. If you have and are unsure if you’ll be able to update it without breaking something, feel free to contact me, I’ll provide assistance if needed.
